Moxifloxacin inhibits the bacterial DNA synthesis process, thereby eliminating bacterial infections in the eyes. Dexamethasone reduces redness, irritation, swelling and pain in the eyes, especially after infection or surgery.
This drop is especially useful in post-surgical eye inflammation, infectious conjunctivitis and other inflammatory eye conditions where bacteria are involved.
It contains benzalkonium chloride which keeps the medicine sterile.
