Medical & Legal Disclaimer
This disclaimer applies to the entire indiapharmafranchise.com website, operated by EL.V. Life Sciences with its registered office in Chandigarh, India. By using this website you accept the terms set out below. If you do not accept them, do not use the website.
1. This website is informational, not medical advice
Articles, guides, and product pages on indiapharmafranchise.com — including any content about monobenzone, Benoquin, Albaquin, Uniqueen, vitiligo or depigmentation therapy — are published for educational and ordering information only. They are not, and are not intended to be, a substitute for:
- A consultation with a qualified medical practitioner
- A diagnosis from a registered dermatologist
- A prescription written by a physician who has examined you
- An emergency medical service
If you are unwell, in pain, experiencing an adverse reaction, or in any clinical doubt, contact your treating physician or your local emergency service. Do not rely on this website for clinical decisions.
2. No doctor–patient relationship
Nothing on this website creates a doctor–patient relationship between you and EL.V. Life Sciences, the article author, the named medical reviewer, or any other party associated with the site. The medical reviewer named on individual articles has approved the article’s medical accuracy for general informational purposes; they have not examined you and are not providing personal medical advice through this website.
3. Prescription-only medication
Monobenzone — sold under brand names including Benoquin, Albaquin, Uniqueen, and generic equivalents — is a prescription-only medication in most jurisdictions. It is intended for the treatment of extensive vitiligo (typically affecting more than 50% of body surface area) and is not a cosmetic skin-lightening product.
EL.V. Life Sciences supplies monobenzone exclusively against a valid prescription from a registered dermatologist or physician. See our prescription policy for the full requirements. We do not, and will not, dispense the medication without a prescription, regardless of customer circumstances.
4. Personal-use importation is the customer’s responsibility
Where customers import monobenzone or other medications into their country of residence for personal use, compliance with that country’s import regulations is the customer’s responsibility. EL.V. Life Sciences provides documentation (Certificate of Analysis, commercial invoice, prescription cover letter) intended to support customs clearance, but does not warrant that any shipment will clear customs in any specific jurisdiction.
Personal-import policies vary by country and change over time. Customers should review the current rules for their jurisdiction — for example the FDA Personal Importation Policy in the United States — before placing an order.
5. Permanence of treatment
Monobenzone causes permanent, irreversible loss of skin pigmentation in treated areas. This is by design — depigmentation therapy is intended for patients with extensive vitiligo for whom uniform skin tone (achieved by depigmenting remaining pigmented areas) is preferable to ongoing patchy disease.
By ordering monobenzone, the customer acknowledges they understand the permanent nature of the treatment, have been counselled about it by their prescribing physician, and accept the outcome. EL.V. Life Sciences will not accept returns or refunds based on a customer’s change of mind about the permanence of depigmentation after treatment has begun.
6. Side effects and adverse reactions
Monobenzone has a documented side-effects profile including (but not limited to) skin irritation, dryness, burning sensation, satellite depigmentation, “consort vitiligo” (depigmentation in close contacts), and lifelong increased UV sensitivity of treated skin. Recent research has also raised questions about systemic oxidative-stress effects.
If you experience an unexpected or severe adverse reaction, stop applying the medication and contact your dermatologist promptly. Reporting adverse reactions through your country’s pharmacovigilance system (the FDA MedWatch in the US; the Yellow Card Scheme in the UK; the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India locally) is encouraged.
EL.V. Life Sciences supplies the medication; we do not provide individual clinical management of adverse reactions. That is the role of your prescribing physician.
7. Information accuracy
We make reasonable effort to keep medical information on this website accurate and current. Articles are reviewed by a registered dermatologist before publication, cite authoritative sources, and show the last-updated date.
Despite our efforts, no website should be relied on as the sole source of medical information. Medical understanding evolves; pricing changes; regulations change; specific patient circumstances vary. Do not act on information here without independent verification appropriate to your situation.
If you find an inaccuracy, please email contact@indiapharmafranchise.com with the URL and the issue. Our medical reviewer reviews all such reports.
8. Third-party links
This website contains links to external sources, including (but not limited to) the FDA, DermNet NZ, the Global Vitiligo Foundation, PubMed/PMC, the University of Massachusetts Vitiligo Clinic, and the websites of monobenzone manufacturers. EL.V. Life Sciences does not control the content of these external sites and is not responsible for their accuracy or availability. Links are provided for the convenience and information of our readers; their presence does not imply endorsement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- EL.V. Life Sciences accepts no liability for loss or damage arising from reliance on information published on this website
- EL.V. Life Sciences accepts no liability for adverse outcomes of medication use that has not been supervised by a qualified medical practitioner
- EL.V. Life Sciences accepts no liability for the loss, seizure, or delay of international shipments arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including customs decisions in destination jurisdictions
- Where EL.V. Life Sciences accepts liability (for example for dispatch errors on our part), that liability is limited to the value of the affected order
Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability that cannot be limited by applicable law (including for fraud or for personal injury caused by negligence).
10. Jurisdiction
This website is operated from India. Any dispute arising from the use of this website, or from the supply of medication ordered through this website, is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chandigarh, India unless local consumer-protection law in the customer’s jurisdiction provides otherwise.

Editor note before publishing: This disclaimer is drafted in plain language for patient-facing use.
